Worried about these lumps on their wings. Please help

Hey everyone. Happy 4th of July! 2 of my drakes have these lumps on their wings. They are hot to the touch. So you kn

ow what this is and how to treat?

If those weren't drakes I'd be inclined to think the wing sores were from rough mating. Regardless how the skin lesions developed, it wouldn't surprise me that your two boys have a staph skin infection on their wings.

I recommend you glove up to treat them as staph bacteria can infect you if you have any scratches. Wash thoroughly with warm soap and water and use Vetericyn spray twice a day on the lesions. I would also use a triple antibiotic ointment with the Vetericyn.

Ok thank you. Would they have the vetericyn at TSC? If not where would I get the proper meds

Vetericyn can be found at TSC. The ointment you can get at Walmart. Neosporin or triple antibiotic ointment without pain killer. Pain killer is toxic to poultry.
