I’ve never incubated and hatched before. This is my first time and things are going well. I’ve had 17 chicks hatch so far. One who hatched in the middle of the night is acting different than the rest have ever acted and I am wondering if she is unwell. I am also wondering if she is suffering and should be culled. I don’t want to cull her if she is going to be ok though.

She is a tiny little bantam and she is laying on her back. If I flip her over to put her on her stomach, she flips herself back to her back.
She shivers occasionally and chirps occasionally as well.

I appreciate any thoughts you have on this. 💗

I took a video so you could see how quick she is to flip herself back over, but it isn’t letting me post it. I don’t know why.
She is dry now. I wonder if it would be good for me to just hold her in my hand for awhile on her stomach, to maybe get her balance to improve that way?
