Yesterday we lost Cody, our beloved dog and today our first hen to want to brood was sitting on
a dead baby. When we got biddies last year all 12 turned out to be hens, so when this hen wanted to
brood we went and got a dozen eggs from a farm that had roosters. After 20 days, we heard peeping and saw pipping on one egg. And today, day 21, it was born but dead. There are 7 more eggs under her but we can't hear anything in any of them. We don't know what to think. How long do you wait in a matter like this. Shouldn't we hear any tapping or peeping in any of the other eggs?
