Worried! I have 3 week old chicks and seems like overnight 2 of them have balding spots. One under the wings where they meet in the middle of the back and the other on the backside. I know their feathers are coming in but they are getting pecked at my the others.

Looks like feather picking. This can happen in overcrowding situations. Sometimes, I've read, it can even be genetic (predisposition).

Mine are 7 weeks and plucked each other bc of over crowding. We are trying as fast as we could to get there outdoor pen ready, but that is your problem maybe. Or they might just be bored so they’d re plucking each other. As long as they aren’t bleeding they should be ok

I had the outside for the first time,there is definatley a bully in the flock. As far as bleeding,I had 1 with a tiny dot of blood where her new feathers are coming in,but nothing more

I have their pen and coop ready,bit I researched and read it was too soon to put them in it? I'm a new chicken parent lol
