Would 5-grain Scratch help with warmth?

16 hens. No roosters. I’ll update with details tomorrow. Really simple setup.

So, get something like this: Moultrie Hanging Feeder.

Then hang it from a strong limb or some apparatus like this:

Three seconds once or twice a day for 16 hens reels the girls back home. They clean it all up in about 30 minutes and then go back to ranging. Again, I just do this as an aid to keep them from straying too far. The sound of the spinner slinging the scratch calls them all back. Adjust the spinner timer according to your flock size.

I haven’t had a bit of trouble, so yes as to buying another.

I have no experience with temps below 28F with this rig.
