would a chain link dog run be good for chickens and ducks

I have two dog pens butted up to my hen house, with small doors attached to the hen house works well. mine are the kind you buy at the hardware with chicken wire over the top to keep out prey that has wings.

We use the dog kennels and the only thing that we still have problems with is skunks and they can fit through the chain links!

do the skunks fit through the chain links, or just through the space between the panels? That is why we ran chicken wire all around the bottom, even across the gate hinges. Just a little insurance.
