Would a little bit of bread in olive oil help with something stuck in crop?

So we have a bunch of chickens but 2 of them (our silver laced wyandotte females) have been doing some weird things. So we thought maybe a little bit of bread in olive oil would help my girls. They look like they are getting the same things and they can possibly spreading it. We thought maybe this would work? I am just clarifying it before we get started.
