Related: the other day I went sprinting because I thought my old rooster Bernard was having a seizure.

It was a dust bath.

I have never in over 6 years seen this rooster take a dust bath. But back in April I integrated his crew with another flock and so now there is a younger rooster and I guess he finally felt safe enough to take a dust bath while Poppy kept an eye on the girls.

Thanks to a poster in this thread when the chickens take a dust bath I hear the phrase "not digging her own grave!" in my head, lol.
