i hear its bad if a bro and sis have chicks...... can a father mate with a daughter?

it won't be bad for the sister or eggs if the brother mates with her right?

If you are going to do close inbreeding, you should select only the best individuals with no significant faults in type or temperament, as inbreeding increases the expression of both good and bad traits.

If you are not planning on hatching any eggs, their relationship is not important.

The brother over sister thing is largely for stamping common traits, good and bad. If these are simply back yard birds, I'd not be the least bit concerned. If you're actively pursuing a quality breeding program, the preferred method would indeed be father/daughter and son/mother. What are your goals in breeding them?

just that i might wants some chicks once and a while and if i should make sure that bros and sis are apart

No it doesn't physically harm them in the slightest. Mentally either, they don't know the difference.

Unless you are trying to create a refined breeding program, it really doesn't matter who breeds with who. It would take dozens of generations of very close in-breeding before genetic deformities started to occur.
