Would it be okay if....

Mine also grew faster outside than in. And they just love the freedom. As long as it's not too cold you can leave them out all day. Just check for predators!
And you're right about this site. I wish I'd found it sooner. It's very informative.
 
I think we are going to have to put ours outside as soon as their coop is done, which wont be too long..we just need some finishing touches. The booder is just too small, and I dont want to buy another one, and i dont want to separate them either
 
Thank you, proudchickiemom, for asking this question. I was wondering if I could do that with my 3 week old chicks.
 
Our hen Elkie took her 1 week old out for a stroll today so why not?



Meanwhile we had the seven 5 week old chicks hatched in our incubator out in their playpen.
