Yep, start helping those babies out. Replace the paper towel with sponges. The paper towel will dry out way too fast. Even a wash cloth will hold water longer. You can put part in the water well, or a dish of water and the rest out flat.

Q tips
Tweezers
Gauze or paper towel for pressure incase of blood
Washcloth for humidity
Use warm water, go slow, if you see blood, STOP wait 30 min and go again.

Okay so as I was chipping away at the other chick's eggs, as soon as I get close to the membrane it starts to bleed.. should I wait until tomorrow to try again or later tonight? its day 4 of lockdown..

I always start at the fat end of the egg where the air sack is. the wet papertowl seemed to work because I opened the incubator to see a beautiful little blond head looking at me! she pipped and zipped all by herself!
