I have four one year old+ turkeys. One tom and three hens. I have one large (approx. 8' x 24') hoop house they are currently housed in. I also have two smaller hoop houses, approx. 8' x 8' each. One of the smaller coops houses meat chickens who are destined for freezer camp in the next few days. The other smaller coop has 16 juvenile turkeys. I would like to move the juveniles into the large hoop house & grow them out for the freezer. They're quickly outgrowing their small pen. The juveniles are mixed in age & size, but all were hatched this spring. They are probably from 2 to 4 months in age. Should I remove all 4 adult turkeys to another coop or possibly just the tom, then add the juveniles? I also have 10 guineas that are about 2 months old in a brooder on one end of my chicken coop. Do you think I would be able to move the guineas into the large coop at the same time I move the juvenile turkeys? Another option is to push the two small pens together to make one larger pen. I would appreciate any input.
