So my flock is down to three birds, a tom turkey and 2 bantam size Wyandottes. I love my little chickens. I'm not a fan of the bigger birds. I don't eat them, I have them as pets, I'm not even huge on collecting and eating eggs to be honest (*gasp* the dogs love them though!) I really just like watching them when I let them out to range around the yard.
Anyway, it seems that if I want to order bantam chicks they are only straight runs
I don't know if I want a roo. I'd really like to get more Wyandottes but I haven't been able to find them. The ones I got were purchased at the fair in late September, that seems so far away!
So TSC is going to be getting some birds in I saw, I saw they will be getting Assorted Bantams. I don't know if I want to go that route. I also have another feed store near me that seems to get a lot of chicks. Is there a breed that is on the smaller side that I might enjoy? Here is their site that lists the breeds.
