Ok. We have a 5yr old female pitbull who will eat the chicken feed.Does anybody know why?The need for protein?Or just likes the taste.She will eat chick stater all the way up to scratch.

my dog LOVES chicken feed. she sneaks it while i am filling feed buckets and not looking.

dog food is made of many of the same ingredients plus more meat products.

My dog will eat any chicken feed, goat feed, or scratch he can get his paws on. We keep all our feed locked up in our shed just to keep the various animals out of it (the goats always want to eat the chicken feed as well).
