Would this fencing set-up be useful to buy? Trying to set up daytime pastured chickens

Would you buy this fencing? 4-ft high, as shown, with chicken wire. Can buy it all for $150.
I'm pretty sure I will never be able to totally free-range my chickens (goal is 20 hens or so).
Was hoping to have a big coop leading out to a completely enclosed fenced area...which I could then open into this fenced in area when I'm home and ONLY during the day.
Can I have chickens in here or will that not work?

Yes it will work. My chickens have a 4 foot high fence ( metal posts with chicken wire ) that surrounds the coops. We don't have a lot of daytime predators around here so it suits us fine. Chicken wire is great for keeping chickens in but not so great for keeping predators out. If you plan on surrounding the coop with this and having the birds in a secure coop at night this will work for you. Remember though, if you have any daytime predators they will go right through the chicken wire. I can't tell how long the fencing is from the picture but it seems fairly long so $150.00 is not a bad price. I might add that we clip the wings also to prevent them from an escape attempt. Some folks don't like to do that as it will impede them if they are trying to escape a predator. Good luck!!
