Would This Influence Not Laying?

I've only let one broody hatch eggs but around week three she started leaving the chicks to lay an egg. I only have three blue layers and she's one of them, and I was regularly getting three blue eggs in the nesting box. Maybe she is an odd ball?
Did she still sleep with the chicks and night and hang with them most the day?
I've had 3-4 they never laid until after weaning the chicks...
....but that's why I said 'usually'. Ya just never know with live animals.

If I recall around that time she started jumping on the roost and the babies would follow. For the first few weeks she continued to use a nest box to sleep with her chicks. The chicks under mom on the roost was just about the cutest thing ever. It seemed when she transitioned to roosting she started laying again. I won't deny I could have my time frame off for when she started laying but she 100% had not weaned them yet.

The below picture was maybe 3-4 days after the above picture if I had to guess. You can already tell, even with the blurry quality, which one is male and which was female.
