thanks for the advice...i am getting a lil bit lost on what is good and what is not good.This list seems over cautious. I'm going to trust the advice given to me by all the chicken website, chicken farmers, and chicken hobbyists: feed them good quality chicken feed, supplement with good quality veggies, fruit, insects and occasional protein sources. Avoid avocado.

well thats a good way of looking at it!!Me too! I've googled "healthy chick poop" more times in the past 9 days than I can count. The thing to remember is that people have been raising chickens for hundreds of years, and chickens have been raising themselves for thousands. As long as we do due diligence to keep them safe from predators, and provide a healthy living space, they will be as fine as they can possibly be.
