We got a silkie hen a week and a half ago and our 2 easter eggers do not like her at all! I was thinking about getting her another silkie friend and keeping them separate in this.

heres what I copied from the site...

So about 3 ft by 2.5 ft, and 2 levels? That's about 15 square feet... I think you'll have enough space in the coop portion for 2 at the most, but the run will be a little squishy. However it looks like it would be pretty easy to add onto the run.
Congrats on the silkie! Pictures please?

They would be out in the backyard when we're home anyway. so they wouldn't bo cooped up the whole time.

I have pictures of her in the 'pictures and stories' section...she is a real sweetie and very clingy to us! lol I have to be careful where I walk bc she follows so close to me!

I have the same exact one for my little white bantam. I don't know what she is, but she's one of the smallest chickens I've ever seen! About the size of a softball! It works so well for her, she had to be seperated because the bigger ones liked to pick on her. She loves it! Here is Nugget in the temporary dog kennel we had to use for a short time.

Do you think your silkie will do the ramp? I can't see my little one going up that ramp, she is kind of a bump on a log kinda girl, doesnt do much.....I saw it on ebay, is there anywhere cheaper ?

Its $239.99 on chickenhousesplus.com I haven't looked anywhere else though. Have to run all of this by DH first. He might even want to build one just like it, it would be alot cheaper that way.

My silkies go up and down their ramp without a problem. However, once you have 1 silkie, you're gonna want another...they're like chips, you can't have just one!!
