Hi everybody! I was wondering if anyone would be interested in adopting a couple of dogs or would in anyway have any ideas about what I can do with these two guys. They are both great dogs, their labrador retrievers. The yellow one is full blooded(no papers) the other one is mixed with chow. The yellow lab has been nuetered, shots and wormings are questionable for both of them. Long story behind this so anyway they need a new home, they can't stay with me. I have tryed and it is not working out for them or me. I really dont want to take them to our local shelter because they arent a no kill shelter and they dont give them much time. I have never had to rehome an animal before so I just dont know what to do. I would love to keep them, but with my animals I can't afford anymore. Any ideas would be great and IF there is anyone willing to give either one of them a good home, I would sooooo appreciate it. Here is a couple of pictures of them. Thanks all!

. You could see if your local feed store, hardware store.... would let you put up signs. This is how we got one of our dogs. Also talk to everyone you know, you never know who might be wanting to replace a beloved pet. Good luck to you and those sweet faces.

Our TSC has a bulletin board where they let people put up flyers/pictures. Maybe you can put pics. and info. up there.

Look for a lab rescue group close to you.
Just use any search engine and type in labrador retriever+(your state).
Good luck to you.

I think the poster is asking for help, not criticism. Craigslist, the local newspapers, and petfinder are good resources. There may be a Lab rescue group in your area that will take them in.

be careful with craigslist, if you post them there make sure you charge a re homing fee... labs like to get free animals from places like that.

I would also say just be honest... if they're not working out say why... you would hate for them to go to someone who ends up having the same problems as you...

they are very cute. Also ask your vet or look up local rescues in your area... you can find a list of them via petfinder.
