Totally different situation, but I remember the mind set very well. I'm just going to have to let them be stupid until they get smart. Education is FIRST, then they can be ignorant all they want!! I WILL NOT put her out without a diploma, that is beneath my own standards and unacceptable no matter how much I'd like to give her the heavy boot.

Seriously it WILL be okay, I just had to get all this crap outta my head!! DH and I talked and he at least sees what I mean. Not that it changes anything but she is welcome to finish school...if she decides against that though....war WILL break out I tell ya!

For those that missed some posts HE is currently in college pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice. He isn't a bad kid, he's just young and a few sandwiches shy....much like my DD. God help em!!!

I agree I bet she ISN'T pregnant but wants to be able to have sex with her college boyfriend, with no guilt.They are after all 18.I bet THAT is what she thinks, and i also bet boyfriend IS pressuring her for sexual favors. Another problem may be that AFTER they get married ,she quickly GETS pregnant.Then what?

On the other hand like a few previous posters, I was married at 20,dh was just barely 21 and we have been married 18 years.We waited 6 years before having our first child.Dh though ALWAYAS had a great head on his shoulders, and was more mature than I.SO IF they get married,try to instill teh idea of waiting to get pregnant!!!!!!!
