Would you buy a house near a chicken house?

And most cases, they "flipped" and die, nothing new with Cornish X's. You would have more deaths with flipping that you do with bacterial or viral diseases.

Across the road from us, our neighbor has 2 pig houses, behind him is a smaller cattle place, in the year since we've moved in I can count on ONE hand the days it's Stank! It did give me pause when we looked at the house, we had gone there numerous times in our house hunting and never smelled anything during those visits.

Just be aware as others have mentioned, this IS going to be an Issue when you sell, so as long as you know this and can accept it, the decision to move there is not something you regret later!

Good Luck either way!!!

I live across the street from a pig farm- I don't ever smell it. However, I would not buy next door to a chicken farm if it was free. Alabama? In July and August it is going to be a special kind of awful!
