Would you get hens using craig$list?

We bought some year old hens from craigslist so we could get eggs while raising our new born chicks we ordered..wasnt educated on the quarantine thing so eneded up bringing in cocci and lost 7 out of 25 chicks aruacana and orpingtons..luckily saved the remaining after treating with corid and cleaning coupe with cleaning ammonia top to bottom..now whenever we bring in newbies to our flock we quarantine..and go ahead and worm and make they are healthy for about 2 weeks before they interact with the rest of our flock.
