I would have taken a good scoop or two out, then returned it.

If it had been in the my coop for a couple of months they would be eating meally bugs, and dust, I wouldnt throw it out, but if I pay for FRESH, that is what I want to get, if I let it sit for too long I would be to blame for it getting buggy, so since they let it sit to long they are at fault, and would make it right.

Yes, I would have returned the feed. "Extra protien" is not an excuse for poor storage practices

You paid for a bag of FEED. If you want nasty bugs, you can buy nasty bugs. I would assume you did not ask for "Gamebird starter with bugs"
