If its a daily-wear ring, I agree with Red, the black is going to scratch and the space in between the diamond bands will get 'gooped-up'. If its an occasional-wear ring, I think my DH would wear it and he is pretty picky

My hubby wouldn't wear it (he likes plain bands), but we do have some guy friends who's wedding rings have diamonds in them. It looks like a ring that you'd not wear too often. I have sapphire & diamond one that is not meant to be worn alot. So if that's okay with you and you'd think he'd like it then go for it.

Without the diamonds... maybe DH would... but not likely since he's just not a big jewelry buff.

Works out since I'm not either, some Taco Bell, a cheap gift and we're both thrilled on our Anny.

You know your man the best. My engagement was more of a gradual coming together of the minds rather than a proposal on one and side and acceptance on the other. I like it that it was that way.
