Would you set these eggs?

I just received hatching eggs and a lot of them look like this:


Should I even bother setting these eggs? I don't really want to end up with hens that lay long and pointy eggs and I would never use a male that hatched out of an egg like this for breeding. Or maybe egg shape is not hereditary???

i would, some will most likely hatch. i know alot of people say that strange eggs wont hatch but ive had some really wierd eggs develope and hatch out fine. im not saying all wierd eggs would just some.

Thank you! I put them in the incubator and they are due to hatch soon... I'll definitely not use these chickens, if any even hatch, for breeding. I don't want to pass on a strange egg shape like this. Unless somebody can assure me that egg shape is not hereditary. But why shouldn't it be? I guess I'll find out, if a pullet hatches and she starts laying!
