So i have 6 Araucana chicken eggs that i purchased in the post and simply put under a broody after letting them settle for 24 hours. A few days ago i tried to candle them but unfortunately the eggshells are too dark to see any development. There are also 3 other eggs from my hybrid flock there just in case zero hatched from the Araucana.
I do not want to loose any Araucana chicks, and have no issues being hands on during the hatch (making a safety hole and such) so the question i have is should i remove the eggs on day 19 or let nature run its course fully and see what i get ?
