Wow, do I feel woefully inadequate

I take pride on how little money and time I spend on building a coop. To each their own I guess. If I were to get impressed by anything with a coop is how functional it is (safe and well vented) and how easy it is to clean and collect eggs.

exactly! As neat as these were, maybe they were built primarily for the person’s ego more than the functionality of a chicken coop. Maybe. But who are we to pass judgement lol. At any rate. To each their own. But I’m pleased with my repurposed playhouse coop and 12x12 run that cost me less than $500 to build.

We have fooled ours into thinking they live in a wonderful palace, even though it's crooked and wrinkled and such. They believe the lie and are actually quite happy!!

It will be a cold day in hell when my chickens have a nicer house/yard than I have. When I get finished with painting walls & cabinets, redoing bad flooring, replacing doors that have seen better days, finishing the landscaping of my front yard, I will consider an upgrade for the girls. But it sure is fun to look at the pictures.

They are creative artist. What fun it would be to design something out of the ordinary and put hard work and sweat into it. Loved all the creative ideas.

Loved the humor shown in those coops! Many not so safe, but fun to see anyway.
Mine is in the 'farm grunge' category, but it's safe and functions well.
