WOW!!!! get my leghorn an icepack...

    could not believe that one of my 4 lb leghorns layed this egg!!!!!
    poor girl must be exhausted...

    the other white eggs are already jumbos to begin with and the brown egg i would consider a large....

    Yeap - My Leghorn girls are laying 2 7/8 ounce eggs consistently. And occassionally, they are 3 ounces. And they are the girls consistently laying this winter. Most of the brown egg layers are on break.

    i'm gonna have to weigh it up tonite.
    yeah my leghorns have been giving me 5-6 eggs everyday, i only have 6 of them. absolutely incredible layer!!!!
    and out of my 3 ee's i get 2 green eggs everyday and occasionally 3 a day.
    but out of my 16 brown eggs layesr i get an average of 6-8 eggs a day.
