WOW!!! Has anyone ever noticed a sawdust type fiber in chick starter/grower???

Looks like sawdust to me too. I saw a tag recently for a feed that has wood ash in it, which I also found interesting. May be a purpose beyond being a filler, but it's always interesting.

I'm glad I'm not alone. I really don't want to feed my new chicks, or any chicks, sawdust. This is my first time to use the incubator and I feel like they are at a disadvantage already..
