lol he told me no more chickens till the spring. Well my BA got killed monday and ever since then Buella just hasn't been the same. So I was just browsing and came across this one. I told hubby that I had already set up a pick up time with the lady lol. I told him on Thanksgiving lol. Hey DH wants me to get the assorted egg layers lol. And he wants to know why I won't get a leghorn lol.
Its not hat I don't like them, I just don't want one. So I figure if he is going to enable then why not make the girl he picked out happy again lol.

Yea, mine learned a long time ago not to say anything about my critters. He tolerates them all and usually ends up having several favorites out of the bunch. He especially likes my turkeys - he goes out with a turkey call and has competitions with my toms.

And when he sees something he likes in one of my magazines or at some place that I am picking up critters, I try to make a point of getting him one of whatever it was.

lol he also suggested I get an EE lol. For not wanting me to have chickens originally he sure has changed his mind without looking like he has lol. I'm sure he doesn't want to look like he thinks this is a good idea or fun or anything lol. Although he used to tease my old roo and then let me take care of him after he got him all riled up. He thought it was just the funniest thing.

Ugh, I have to get my madies the 'old fashion' way. AKA through Ebay! or any other web. selling eggs this spring.
And they are anything BUT free.
And I still have to build that flight pen. I think I will start on that tomarrow.

I'll get my new man tomorrow! The weather was bad here and made the roads super icy so we did not meet today to get the roo. I'll take pics as soon as I get him
