Wow i didnt think i could actualy make a coop

I think you are well on your way to being a great carpentress!

I am 36 (been building stuff for only 10 years) and only recently could build something and have it come out square.

Great Job,
Teri

I can't wait to see what you do next!! As for breeds - I think barred rocks are the friendliest and most fun (at least in my small flock of 1 australorp, 1 gold laced wyandotte and 2 barred rocks).

WOW!

As for hen recommendations, I would go with an Orpington! They are friendly and gorgeous, but that is my opinion. Look at lots of pics of chickens, read about their general personalities, then you need to decide what floats your boat as far as breeds go. A good place to look at different breeds is Feather Site. Here's a link for you.

OMG that is awsome! You certainly have some talent there, and I love the chihuahua in the back! You should get a nice friend for your barred rock girly. I would get a reddish hen to contrast the black and white. Maybe a rhode island red or a new hampshire. Buff orpintons are pretty too. I would totally do what jubylives said and paint it pink!

You're doing a wonderful job! I'd recommend an EE girl. Sweet, docile, and lay pretty colored eggs to go with the brown one you'll get from your Dominiker girl.
