Wow I got to watch

Well I think I got it down now cause I got to watch again.... There was one heck of a ruckus going on at the coop so I wandered over, The roo and most of the BOs were outside just making alot of noise, so I snuck a peek inside and sure enough little miss egg layer was in the nest..... at first I thought she was just tyding up cause she was placeing straw around her one piece at a time and getting rid of some that she did not like but then she kinda lifted up her back end pushed a couple of times and out comes an egg, So I waited around to see what was gonna happen next, Well then she sounded off and everybody came running in including the rooster who checked all around her pushed some more straw up next to her........ the rest ot the chickens checked her out then everybody but little miss left the coop............... I kinda felt bad about taking that egg she was so proud but she let me take it did not even peck at me when I reached under her.........

I have been trying to catch mine in the act several times and always miss it. Oh well - at least I am getting the eggs!
