Wow. It's cold, but the sun is shining!

Today I will do one last 'look over' to see if anything needs to be put away. Oh, and I need to get a tarp!

Damp, anyway. It did actually rain some time this morning enough for water to pool in the streets. That's rare. It's sprinkled on and off (mostly off later the in the day we go). With the cloud cover the sidewalks have stayed damp longer than normal.

Not enough to soak the container plants though, I don't think. Actually, those are so close to the house it almost never rains enough to get them wet.

It does look like a rainy day, though. That's much more than we usually get!

Yeah we are just down the street from Tempe Feed and Tack. Great store!

Oh great... thanks for the heads up though!

I'm very surprised we still have power. We usually lose it at the first drop of moisture. (Thanks, APS)

Rained all day here. at work too. Both the brooder & coop were pretty dry.

Would you believe I remember when Chandler didn't have any paved roads, lol. And when they paved Guadalupe south of Dobson Ranch in Mesa.

I remember working at one of the Rec Centers at "the ranch" during the summers and making predictions on when we would be shutting the pools down because of storms that were building over the Superstitions. After 2 summers I was 98% accurate, lol.

It snowed Christmas Day 1986 in Tempe, about a half inch of snow that was gone by lunch.

Oh how I miss AZ!!!
