I see a lot of pretty strange Craigslist ads but this one takes the cake! I copied and pasted it because I am pretty sure it will be flagged for removal soon. LOL

"i have a 5 month old blue pit male. ears are cropped. he is ukc pr registered but we recently lost his papers in a fire. if you want papers i can get it em for you it will just take a couple of weeks. we will write out a contract for papers. i am willing to trade him for a pistol. must be nice and new. Hmmm... wonder what kinda of a pistol he wants for the poor pup. Hope it's at least a decent 1911.
I guess the guy decided that a handgun is a better home defense than a dog... less messy and cheaper upkeep.
I will still never understand how someone can give up a pet like that

eh, close enough, when we first moved to the edge of the ghetto, hubby and i went up front and put up 2 targets... spent the first afternoon having a knife throwing contest in the front yard, made sure everyone saw us.

No one bothers the crazy white girl who's juggling 5 knives on the front lawn, or the 6'6 man who's throwing bullseyes all day.

LOL I hear ya......I like to make sure I take my gun and my kids out back for target practice every now and then just as a friendly reminder that OMG that chick can shoot!!! LOL

I know, Shura, it is sad. I just hope the poor pup gets a home where he is loved and NO ONE is stupid enough to give this guy a gun. If he can't go buy one, there is a reason!!!!
