wow!!! OMG What a surprise!!!

Is there any chance that a hen could have started incubation before the eggs were gathered? I have ocassionally found embryos a few days old in eggs that I have gathered for eating that were nowhere near a broody hen (though I had broody hens in the coop) and they were cold too.

or is there any chance you got an egg muddled from your other bator seeing as they hatched yesterday???

the early bird catches the worm!!! he is a cutie!!!

I guess that could be possible it had already started to develop ... but it would have been from the farm it came from...these were eggs I ordered and it came with them...my bator 1 came from eggs from my chickens and were already in my bator when these arrived...so Im baffled....but happy!!!
he is doing great this morning eating drinking and pooping all is well..
