Wow this is just what I've been looking for

Checking in from CT and half way through building our coop. A nice 8x10 gambrel style(I think that's the style) shed/coop. I'm going to use half of it for the coop for 6 layers but if I decide to go with dual purpose I may make it bigger. Next step will be the run which is going to be pretty big so hopefully they will leave each other alone. Well that's about it for now and I will post some pics of the coop/shed when I'm done.

Yeah, I've been on here for about an hour searching/reading already. I pretty much grew up on my grandfather's pheasant farm and would like to give my daughters some farming experience also. Plus nothing like fresh eggs/meat
