Wowwwww!... still can't believe it!

ohhhh you guys!!!!..

Trust me.. I've been a very " we raise these animals in a good way so we have goood meat" .. up until now.

which makes this decision so golly darn hard!!!.... I'm 50/50 right now..

I either raise them with my daughters and teach them the responsibility of the chores that come along with this.. or...

really suck it up.. not allow anyone to become attached and take them back to the auction barn on Tuesday.. but that's the thing also.. the one has an ear that looks like someone just snipped it clean off.. and no one will want to buy it from the auction.. besides some crazy Bunny Stalker guy that already got his fix from dumping these poor things on me!...

Like I said before .. I'm a silly sucker for any animal.. and that's why I refrain myself from buying any unneeded critters.. cuz I way tooooo easily get attached!...

and it's waaay too late to consider these for meat.. this is our first experience with bunny rabbits.. around Easter.. and then I tell my girls we'll be having them for din din!... I mean I could.. but do I want to???.. no, not really!..

We have had the best experience with our first rabbit. It didn't even cost me a dime. DD said she wanted a bunny, I took her to a breeder so she could look at them and see what she would like. She decided she wanted a mini-rex. DW and I told her that if she wanted one then she would have to pay for everything by herself, we would help take care of it though. She saved up for 6 months, she read a rabbits for dummies book multiple time, a friend gave us a cage we could use outside and I won a cage at the school raffle for inside the house (almost made her buy it from me, but she gave me those puppy dog eyes and I melted). She now has the mini-rex and is doing a great job taking care of the bunny. I now want to get a male so that we can breed them and sell them for some extra cash. By the way DD just turned 11 in Feb. She got the money saving gene from her mother.
