i know.....weird subject line.....but my eggs are on day 11. i candled them and all but one seem to be doing great. AND.....one of my good eggs....i saw very clearly a cute little foot! is that possible at 11 days? or am i just seeing things? but it looked pretty clear to me! 3 little toes! anyway.....the one egg that's doubtful.....it's not totally clear, but it doesn't look like the others......it's a lot clearer than it should be at 11 days and there's very little veining and i detected no movement. but i'm afraid to cull it, thinking i should give it a chance "just in case"....but then i worry that it may explode?! so i wrapped it in toilet paper in case it explodes.....the top of the egg is still visible when i look down into the incubator. what do u guys think? should i chunk it? or, is wrapping it up bad for it?

If it doesn't smell or have a blood ring you could probably give it a couple more days then candle again.

I wouldn't use TP in an incubator for the same reason its no good to give small animals like hamsters, when it gets wet it breaks up, disolves and sticks to things.

i see what your saying....i'll give it a bit more time......it would break my heart if i broke it opened only to discover i was wrong.

You probably did see a foot...I know I have with my ducks. It was so incredible...I could see the toes and the webbing too...It was so tiny...but it was pretty clear what I was seeing. I have been recording on what days i have seen particular things- they change so quickly from day to day- that what you see one day when candling- it so different the next. I found there is only a window of three days I have seen feet before.
