It's Christmas Eve afternoon, we're celebrating with my parents tonight, and I've run out of clear tape!!!!!!!

It's pouring rain and looks like I will have to brave WalMart

If I don't return, at least you'll know what happened.

Wish me luck!!!!!!!!

Don't go, I can rescue you with some tricks....

Try any of these!!!

Chewing gum, in small pieces and chewed up will hold that wrap down...... Okay, it sounds gross but It is raining and do you want to get out.

Once I used clear fingernail polish and it held light weight paper

Also, if your paper is not too heavy, you can use glue sticks or real glue, press lightly and it holds.

I have even made glue one time....think it was flour, water and corn starch.....

Yes, once I'm home I don't like to go out.

Here's another trick .....Instead of a box wrap, use more paper and wrap by tying the top of all the wrapping at the top of the box.... NO GLUE needed!!!

PM me if this makes no sense. And drive carefully out there ......

I went to Wal-Mart this morning. I thought I was going to go crazy. There was soooo many people there. Go to the Dollar Store or even the gas station. Good luck.

I have returned!!!

The gas station didn't seem to have anything resembling clear tape, and we don't keep glue on hand, and uh, I'm wraping for adults mainly so I feel like gum would be a big turn-off for them! lol

Cold?? Honey, this is Arkansas. The bank sign said 57*F

Don't forget, there's always the redneck standby --- WalMart bag with the handles tied into a bow!

I think my mom would shoot me! lol

Hey, it would help waterproof the gifts, right?
