I've been trying to get the whole flock in a pic for quite awhile..

Got sort of close with this one with 22 out of the 27 free ranging , with the 6 littles that are still under heat is 33 total in that coop.

Just a small update that Joannie layed her 1st egg today after her molt. Very excited to have her back laying again as I can now decide if I'm going to do another hatch here soon.
What I'm thinking is I'll let her get up to speed laying and pen her with the best of Kongs sons I have and see what she produces there.
Here's Joannie my founding darkest layer of my OGs. She's been giving me some gorgeous pullets with Kong so far.

And her egg today... Not her usual darker egg yet but love the speckles and looking forward to seeing her ink jets get going.

I'm also thinking that if Solo comes on line here soon as her comb is getting redder and she's been showing interest in the nest boxes lately, that I may pen her up and incubate some eggs from her also.
To clarify here a bit she's my only Black Silver which makes her Silver based instead of Gold based in the Black Coppers. I can introduce her good genes in to my BCM flock as all her pullets would still be pure BCMs. Any cockerels would have gold leakage and would be culls.
I have to thank all the great members here that's a part of my threads here on BYC for this knowledge I'm able to use and share to better my flocks.

Took some pics of the OEs today mainly to post the 2 boys for sale. They are 16 wks today. The one little pullet I'm keeping and hoping for an Olive egg.

I'm kinda bummed she don't have muffs like her 2 brothers and wondering if that's something to do with Esther my EE only passing the muffs to the cockerels? I was also hoping she would be all black, but she's showing a little bit of copper now. She's still pretty tho and very friendly.

2 cockerels in the mix flock I'm going to post for sale. Separating this post because I need some help from you experts on what the second boy is. He's confusing me.

First guy is a BCM x SLW 15 weeks old

This guy.... From the start I figured this one to be BCM x SLW but he's got what looks like a straight comb, no silver leakage but yellow feet?
Wouldn't the rose comb and silver leakage be dominant?

The possible hens are 3 Black Australorps, 3 Barred Rocks (not it, he'd be Barred), 1- Isa Brown, 1-Silver Laced Wyandotte and 1- EE
I was pretty positive I only set BA and BR eggs but oops, here we are with the 1 SLW boy and now this guy. I did not set any green EE eggs so he's not an OE.
So my only possible hen would be the SLW with his yellow legs?

BCM x Isa Brown wouldn't produce him, would it? Unless I got a bad Australorp but none have yellow legs unless it's hidden/ recessive?

I'm putting him up for sale but just curious what possible genetics are at play here with him so I can learn. He basically looks like a BCM with yellow legs. He's a friendly fella and let me take a bunch of pics. His copper is stunning coming from King.
