I’ve never seen a day old Ayam Cemani but I believe they have more of a game bird body type and lay small to medium eggs. so I would expect them to be smaller than a Marans chick.

This is the 4th attempt and fail for Poppy x Solo. Solo is now molting, so no eggs but when she starts laying again, I'm going to collect for one final hatch. Need to figure out what's going on here with Poppy.

Could well just be the time of year. Fertility picks up again in the spring.

Moved our BA to her brooder. All 6 of Lil Jessie's hatched plus she has the Momma little who's banded yellow (3rd from left)

I think the fairy egg was Headspot. She layed her first normal pullet egg yesterday. Lil Jessie don't normally throw speckles so that was neat to see also.
