Wriggling eggs!

I'm seeing a few eggs wriggle when I use the flashlight to check for pips...so fun!

That's what turns us all into hatch-a-holics!

Oh, how cool is that?! I can't wait til I get to see some rockin' and rollin'! How many days before they hatch?

I wouldn't have guessed I would be so hooked on chickens either 2 years ago and here I am! A chicken fanatic!

Hatching is worse than being addicted to chickens though because it's so darn easy to load that incubator up with eggs! I promised my wonderful husband that I'd only do one hatch this year and the incubator is up and running for the second time. He just shook his head when he noticed it yesterday.

He has no idea about the two broody hens sitting on eggs either.

This is my first batch and I'm having a hard time with lockdown. I want to hatch again so I can have something to candle! I love seeing them inside the egg!

Man I never get to see much egg movement. . . But I LOVE the excitement of the first pip!! It gets me every time. . .

And I of course can't imagine how giddy I'll be this time around. . . . I hope ALL my Polish hatch!!

Illia, I am also excited for that first pip now. Should be tomorrow..but I know I be getting up through the night just to check.

When are yours due to hatch?
