Our 1 year old, sapphire gem, hen has been laying wrinkly eggs. In researching this phenomenon it directs me to Infectious Bronchitis. This gal, nor any of our others are sneezing or coughing. This particular hen has lost a bit of weight but I have seen quite a few new feathers as well. Molt? Her crop is full in the evening and empty in the morning. Stool appears normal. Thoughts?

Pictures of the eggs and her?
Her is her egg. Will have to get a photo of her in the morning. We have been getting these for at least a week.

One way that you can tell if it's Infectious Bronchitis (IB) is to crack the egg open. If the whites are watery, it's IB, a dead giveaway.
If the whites are not watery, it might be a body checked egg or simply a misshapen egg.
Even without coughing or sneezing? Treatment suggestions? The whites are more watery then the other girls egg whites.

We currently have the on feather fixer since some are molting. We give them meal worms, crickets, and sunflower seeds as treats. Occasionally, fresh vegetables. No new birds.
Feather Fixer isn't much different than layer feed made by Nutrena. It actually has the same protein amount as most of Nutrena's layer feeds.
My point is you are paying more for something that is no different.
Not the purpose of this thread but I just had to point that out.

Do you feed the above treats daily?

Thx! That’s good to know!
Yes, they receive a small amount every evening.
