Wrinkly egg

Thx
Feather Fixer isn't much different than layer feed made by Nutrena. It actually has the same protein amount as most of Nutrena's layer feeds.
My point is you are paying more for something that is no different.
Not the purpose of this thread but I just had to point that out.

Do you feed the above treats daily?
thx! And yes, they get a small amount every evening.

You might be feeding them too many treats so they aren't getting a proper complete balanced diet...which could cause egg problems.

I'd stop all treats.

Also have you checked them really well for lice and or mites. They should not be molting this time of year.

Actually, we just treated them with ivermectin for lice. Didn’t see any on her but did see them on a couple of her flock mates. Yuk!!! We are on Northern Indiana. Temps have been all over the place.

You treated this weird egg layer too?

So it’s been a week since we treated them with Ivermectin...I don’t see anything moving on them.Treated the coop with poultry dust. Girls seem thin to me. I’m a little worried. They are eating and drinking normally. One is still laying wrinkly eggs but not quite as wrinkly. Also noticed one of the girls shaking her head quite a bit today. Checked her ears and didn’t see anything. Thoughts.
