I have something I've written that I fully intend to get publish in the local writing journal once I clean it up a bit more. I want to post it, but the problem is that it's a little graphic in a violence sense...

Working where I do, I see a lot of very sad situations. I wrote the piece in an effort to get some really bitter emotions out after a local tragedy. It turned into a piece I'm pretty proud of called "Why are You Silent?" It's a short story focusing and calling on the apathy and lack of action that we, as members of the human race, can sometimes be guilty of when we witness a intense situation. I've read it at open-mic nights and I think it's about ready, judging from the tears I saw.

Like I said though, it's a little graphic and it's intended to pull on heart strings. If you're interested in reading it and providing some feedback, PM me.
