Chapter One: The Dud Egg
I Am Trapped in a Room,
With White all around,
To Scared to make a Peep,
to Scared to make a Sound,
I Hear The Soft Cooing,
Of My Turkey Mother,
I Hear the Loud Peeps,
Of my very brave Brother,
I've tried And Tried,
All Day And Night,
And Not Even one Crack,
Is in my Sight,
Cant Seem to get Out,
My Time is Almost expired,
I Cant Make a Crack,
im Way to Tiered,
Then My Family,
So Kind And Proud,
Gave Me a Crack,
Just to break out,
I'm Free of this room,
Free Of it all,
Im Free Of this Scary,
White little Ball,
I've Started My Life,
All Happy And Perky,
And I'm Very Proud to be,
A Chick of a Turkey.
