Writing goals

Don’t get me started on the writing induced sadness😭

I wrote a scene with Arne, Lacy read it, its in the doc, where he’s basically wrestling with his devotion to a god who he thinks has been silent and doesn’t care anymore and why should he continue to be faithful if he feels like his god isn’t there anymore

Anyways
It hit me like a brick
I can understand why that would 🥹

This storyline has been around for ages but idk if I have the stomach to actually write it so I keep it to the side and know I have it there as an option. I found a PERFECT song that matched it the other day and I can't stop listening to it. It's kinda eating at me that I should write a few scenes for it... just to see what it's like.

I probably say what I wanted to with this quote before I forget about it and it surprises me randomly some other time...
I honestly say all this after spending all morning following one of my storylines for Thing and being basically on the verge of tears
So my thoughts was coming from today's story, which got a bit graphic due to one character's bad injury. Going off original story, I don't know how the scene will work in the long run if I write it, but it became a good opportunity for characters to warn of others' cruelty, then it ended with side characters questioning if the protagonist has what it takes to do what they need him to do. Overall, it felt like a good and juicy scene, and it also helped me figure out a random side character's purpose a little better. One scene has already been on my mind's replay, so come writing the story, I'm really hoping I can keep it.

(On a side note of something we talked about somewhat recent, yes, I'm truly the physical pain and you're the emotional.)

Yes. The song about broke my heart when it came on and the only reason I semi held it together was the fact I was driving at the time... Songs can make me feel emotions really easily and that tends to be why I lean to sad songs...
This specific storyline also fits more closely with that song you sent me.

So like in the beginning when Gallius fell from heaven and created Eshur

He chose…crap I can’t remember
*flips back to whatever number Arne said*

Idk
He chose some people for “the blessing”
And they all had names and so every Casothien has a bloodname which is the name of the very first Casothien that individual is descended from.
Due to their monitoring of lineage, they are able to determine which individual has more of what ancestor in their history.

There were twenty Chosen

And each of them have their life story immortalized in ancient song
