Usually I’ll run my names through a search engine just to make sure I’m not offending someone’s mother with a word I don’t understand or know exists and then BOOM they’re good to go

one thing I do when I’m stuck and dont have to adhere to language or culture restrictions is I mash the keyboard and then look at it and use the first thing that comes to mind if it sounds good

OK, I don't see anything good there other than "Jan".

I still don't. "Vire" sound too much like the sire of a vampire, and "Aoulf" doesn't sound nice.

Now this shows potential. It just needs some embellishment. When I first saw it i thought of Willfurrow which could be a village name or something. Sticking closer to the source material you could concoct something like Wyfrie which I don’t like as much
