Okay here’s another

Wfryu

Now this shows potential. It just needs some embellishment. When I first saw it i thought of Willfurrow which could be a village name or something. Sticking closer to the source material you could concoct something like Wyfrie which I don’t like as much
Or Wyfroyo. A city where everyone questions everyone about why they have frozen yogurt everywhere

😭

That sounds so professional 🥹 Thank you :p
My incredibly professional place-naming advice is just have a dream that births your story idea and Deal With whatever your wired, 3:00 a.m. subconscious decides to throw at you 🤷🏼‍♀️
Try it again. Close your eyes. Move hand randomly.

OK, I don't see anything good there other than "Jan".

Djinnshire is pretty cool. :caf

I’ll try my hand at one

Sounds rather Anglo-Saxon-y/Welsh?

Yah, Ludhask and Duhask aren't bad.

I've noticed I'm really improving with my word count. Probably even just when I started this thread I didn't think I could write very many words. But, the last couple days I've done 1500+, and that's only like two "scenes".
So my goal for this year is to complete, at minimum, the story I'm working on. It's looking like there may be 3-4 stories total... Two being important, two being extra things I'd love to do but aren't 100% necessary.
With my story being currently at almost 7,000 words I'm thinking doubling it is very doable... I still don't know what will end up being a reasonable word goal for me so I'm just going to take it in "steps" as we go through the year.

Guys, what're your best tips for naming places? 🥹
I don't really have anything professional, but more of what ever pops into my head. On Toax Island, the name just kept coming to mind, and then it eventually stuck. On the Antler Mountains, I might of just wanted something that came with hunting, seeing everyone there was hunting. Then I took that theme of antlers and named the mountains after things with antlers. (Moose Ear is the tallest, Jack Rabbit is the smallest.)
