Not gonna lie, I like a controversial article. If you're laying out both sides of the argument and making it clear that this is an opinion piece (and not a soapbox rant), I don't see what people can get upset about. My last flock were partial house chickens towards the end. It really does take some thought to figure out how to meet their needs, and how to protect yourself (and your home) from their inevitable nastiness.

Hope you get to finish it soon! Seems like you have plenty of wiggle room to flesh it out more.
I tend to end up standing on a soapbox way too much. All these people with LINUX ONLY or MAC SUCKS and I sit in between standing on my half-dead soapbox trying to get them to be reasonable, only to realize it's reddit and nobody thinks on there.

If you wrote 1,000 words in one night, you're cooking! 🔥
Thanks!

One of the things that helps is that I talk a lot about various topics to myself. This means that if my laptop is on my mind, I pretty much come up with a review for the thing on the spot, in a very disorganized manner. If I end up getting bored of youtube, I can just pull open a document, dump that in a more organized manner there, and the next day I can fix it up to something that humans can read. If I post a Rupert story here, it's probably been bouncing around in my head for a while and it needed to leave.

I spent the last few evenings with a cup of tea and articles on various CPU microarchitectures. Did you know the Pentium M has a pipeline that's longer than that of a Pentium III, and shorter than that of a Pentium 4? Also, did you know that Intel's Yonah (Core Duo and Solo) chips use a different socket than the Pentium M, and they also are a bit more than two Banias Pentium M CPUs stuck on the same wafer?
Yep, I have been spending way too much time lately watching YouTube videos about deep sea creatures. The problem is that I have so many creature ideas than I’m having hard time getting everything to fit together in a logical ecosystem.

Also why would you name a computer Jonah? I think electronics and big fish usually don’t mix.

Invent logic. Bit odd coming from me, since Rupert's world so far follows real-world things, except Gothic City is an outlier in real-world behavior.

It's the codename Intel's Israel team gave the chips. Banias and Dothan were previous chips, both names taken from places there.
